The Coachella Valley, including Palm Springs and surrounding communities, is truly a golfers paradise. The area is known to have more golf courses per square foot than anywhere in the world.

This is in no way meant to be a definitive guide to golf in the Coachella Valley. We simply provide the information and links as a courtesy to our visitors.

Cathedral City
Cathedral Canyon Golf & Tennis Club
Placed against a backdrop of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains, you will find tree lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and over 20 lakes with 27 holes of excellent and affordable golf.

Desert Hot Springs

The course features two beautiful lakes, lush fairways, generous greens and some of the most picturesque views of any golf course in Coachella Valley. Special care was taken to not disturb the natural lay of the land of the animals that inhabit the area. During a round of golf at Desert Dunes, it is not uncommon to see rabbits, roadrunners, red-tailed hawks, coyotes, owls and even an occasional desert kit fox. Be forewarned the prevailing winds can make for an exciting round of afternoon golf.

La Quinta
La Quinta Resort & Club
Some of the country´s most beautiful and challenging golf awaits you at the Mountain and Dunes courses. These Pete Dye designs are well-bunkered with railroad ties and lots of water. The PGA of America rated 414 yard par-4 17th one of the country´s toughest holes.
PGA West
PGA West public courses are ranked among Golf Magazine´s "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the U.S. Test your accuracy on the Nicklaus Tournament Course, your aggressive play on the Greg Norman Course, and the ultimate golf challenge at TPC Stadium.
SilverRock Resort
The Arnold Palmer Classic Course at SilverRock Resort is a challenging 7,553 yards from the tips, yet enjoyable for all skill levels. Huge bunkers and well planned water hazards are set against the natural beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains. What was once called "the last great piece of golf property in the Coachella Valley" now has Arnold Palmer's signature on it. Put this on your 'must play' list.
Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta
Set at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, Trilogy is surrounded by natural desert vistas and complimented by meandering fairways, crystal lakes and flowing greens. Trilogy offers enjoyable golf that will challenge and reward all skill levels.

Palm Desert
Desert Falls Country Club
Golf News Magazine called Desert Falls "One of the Most Challenging and Enjoyable Courses in Southern California". The Ronald Fream championship course has some of the most spectacular views the desert has to offer.
Desert Willow Golf Resort
Desert Willow is a favorite southern California golf course. Golf Digest named the Firecliff course one of the "Places To Play", and Desert Golf Magazine named it the No. 1 public course in Coachella Valley.
Marriott Desert Springs
The Palm and Valley courses are Ted Robinson designed, with plenty of water. The Palms course winds its way around the resort's waterways and beautiful landscape. The Valley course features classic Robinson design elements-challenging water hazards, palm tree-framed multi-tiered greens, and verdant, undulating fairways.
Marriott Shadow Ridge
The fairways are typically generous and the bunkering style is impressively bold. The greens have plenty of subtle undulations and they reward and encourage a variety of approach shots. Home of the Nick Faldo Golf Institute.
Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort
Tahquitz Creek consists of two spectacular 18-hole golf courses, both offer gorgeous views of Palm Springs. Golf Digest recently rated Tahquitz Creek as "one of the best places to play"! The Legend course is a traditional layout that has been a Palm Springs favorite for years. The Resort course is a desert links style course with rolling terrain, well placed bunkers, wonderful waterscapes and tremendous mountain views.

Rancho Mirage Country Club
Nestled in the middle of the Coachella Valley, this popular course displays the vivid contrasts of green, the deep blue of 10 lakes and ponds, reflecting palm trees and the snowcapped San Jacinto Mountains literally take your breath away.
Westin Mission Hills Resort
Voted one of the top 75 golf resorts in the U.S. by Golf Digest magazine. Superb golf is available at two championship courses, one by Pete Dye and the other by Gary Player.
